I dont practice regularly. only i put color rangolis on any festivals.
i just exhibit in the varandah.

All of Srividya's rangolis are very pretty! I don't know about her but I don't do kolams on a daily basis in our front porch here in California but I do make them on all of the hindu festivals and special occasions (and on Fridays). I've seen some of my friends make big ones outside their entry doors and smaller ones at the God's altar (worship area or pooja room).
Can you please give me an idea of how to do this kolam? Atleast number of points?
the dots for :
BIRDS -------- 13 dots for 3 lines till 3 dots. style of dots is leaving one dot on either side till it reduces to 3.
PINK ROSES--- 19 dots till 10 dots. and the style of dots is idukku pulli.. in between dots
BIRDS OF A FEATHER--- the no.of dots is 13 till 7 dots and the style of dots idukku pulli.. in between dots
SPOTTED DEERS--- the no.of dots is 16 dots for 6 lines till 6 dots. the style of dots is leaving one dot on each side till it reduces to 6 dots.
BIRDS OF A FEATHER--- the no.of dots is 13 till 7 dots and the style of dots is "middle dots"
we like the kolams. to draw the same we need dots and no.of lines. pls make time to post the info.
