Rangoli: Freehand rangoli

Hi Friends,

I have painted this kolam for my daughter's Arangetram foyer decoration.I have painted the base color on a vinyl sheet and then painted the rest of the kolam.Your views please.

Rangoli: Kirigami

My daughter and I had gone to a Japanese festival (Cherry Blossom)and learnt this kirigami. Both of us tried to do this Kirigami.

In Japanese language,Gami = Paper.Kiri = Fold and Cut.

I will try out some other patterns and upload it for ikolam friends.Ofcourse, our ikolam legends would come up with many patterns : )

Rangoli: Flowers in glass bowl

I have decorated some flowers in glass bowl with water.Your comments please.

Rangoli: Sikku Kolam

Wish you all a very Happy Tamil New Year !

The dot count is 11,9x2,5x2,1 straight. This kolam can be drawn as small (7 being the main dot count),medium (the one I have drawn)and large by working around with the dot counts.

Rangoli: Freehand Kolam

This is a freehand kolam. Most of the Fridays my Mom draws this kolam in different styles.

Sorry for the previous kaavi marks ! I tried to scrub it as much as I can (it is so stubborn) I will try to scrub it completely before my next kolam : )

Rangoli: Small Kolam

Hello Everyone,This is my first ikolam. The dot count is 6x2,4,2 straight.
